Greater Things

Thank you to Ted Winn for reminding us at the end of this past week's service that...
The Lord is God over our city, our congregation, our lives...and that even greater things are yet to come, and to be done!

Church in the Now band and choir, let's pull together, stick together, encourage each other through what seems to be a wandering time.  We are actually "following" the cloud by day.
It will be a glorious time wherever and whenever we meet because we enter with thanksgiving and praise!
With that in mind, let's look forward to this Sunday back at theatre #8 at Stonecrest Mall Cinema and make His praise "Glorious!".
-------
When you come into His presence
Lifting up the name of Jesus
And you hear the music playin'
And you see the people praisin'
Just forget about your worries
Let your troubles fall behind you
Don't you wait another minute
Just get up and on your feet and

Chorus:
Get to dancing
Singing jumping leaping
Get to shouting
Make it loud and make it glorious
Start rejoicing praising lifting raising
Get to shouting
Make it loud and make His praise
Glorious glorious

I was created
To make Your praise glorious
I was created
To make Your praise glorious glorious
Yes I was yes I was

Let ALL the earth rejoice!

Let all the earth rejoice, let ALL the earth rejoice!...
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great...how great...is our God

Name above all names, worthy of our praise
My heart will sing, how great, is our God!
_____
*Today I will join with ALL creation in singing uninhibited praise to the Almighty!  His throne and Kingdom are established forever!  Long live the King!
Today I will give Him my best and highest praise.  I will bless the Lord with all that is within me! ...and ride on the high places of the earth with the God Who soars over all!
...my destiny is in Him, and today I will live...in the now!

God, You are great, and greatly to be praised!
Amen!

Free for All.

Happy Father's Day to our wonderful Father in heaven...we honor you and bless you Lord!

Your parents may have chosen to have you, but God chose to send you.
From birth God loved you...there was nothing that you did to earn His love...and there is nothing that you can do to be separated from it.

Your mistakes are not mortal...and your failures are not your future.

Don't stop...believin'.
Free for all, free for all...over every limitation, free for all.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is...there is freedom...free for all.

City people...like us!

...don't try to keep them from coming to Me, because..."The kingdom of heaven is made up...OF PEOPLE...like this." -said Jesus to His disciples, Matt. 19:14

You're the God of this city...You're the king of this people.
YOU...ARE A CITY...set on a hill...and your light shines to all around...saying...all come...all are welcome.

...and though we're thankful to God for all that He HAS done...awesome things are coming NOW...and even greater things are yet to come...greater things are still to be done...IN THIS CITY!

Let's be a part of just "letting the children", letting the people come to Jesus...without our preventing...letting Him lay His hands on them...letting Him bless them.
Let God build His kingdom, and place His stones in it, as He sees best.  Let Him build up His city...with people like us, who just come.

Glory to God in the highest!

"From now on I will announce new things to you, hidden things that you have not known."-Isaiah 48:6
"Look, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction."-Isaiah 48:10

...and you will come forth...as pure gold, even transparent.  The foundations of this city is adorned with every kind of precious stone...you are beautiful.  And Lord..YOU'RE THE GOD...OF THIS CITY!

A New Year...A New Dance.

Psalm 67
For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.
1 May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine on us—
2 so that your ways may be known on earth,
your salvation among ALL nations.

3 May the peoples praise you, God;
may ALL the peoples praise you.
4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you rule the peoples with equity
and guide the nations of the earth.
5 May the peoples praise you, God;
may ALL the peoples praise you.

6 The land yields its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us.
7 May God bless us still,
so that ALL the ends of the earth will fear him.

From Karl Cobos:  To those who I sing with in the Nation of Worship choir and band.
I have so enjoyed this year...singing next to you, dancing to the music, worshiping our Father, lifting my hands in praise, crying my eyes out at the embrace of the Holy Spirit and being thankful for His incredible grace and mercy among us.  I've enjoyed all the treats, tea and coffee beforehand, and all the encouraging, inspiring and thought-provoking words that fill the choir room before we go in to the service.  I love you...you're my family, and you've always been there.

In with the new...let us enter this New Year with newness in our hearts, praise and sing to the Lord more and more new songs.  Let His praise be on your lips no matter what has happened during the week...come into oneness and unity thanking Him and reaching out to Him when we're together singing to Him.  Let love consume us...let us be ourselves in our worship, embrace Him and each other and enjoy dancing in our joy!  God wants His children to have fun and be happy and leap like a calf out of the stall.
Here we are ... TO WORSHIP!

Happy New Year!
