BEGIN AGAIN in 2010!!
Today I will open a new chapter in the book of my life. I will learn something that I did not know before (or didn't know that I knew); I will think a new thought . . . speak a new word . . . sing a new song . . . pray a new prayer. I make the choice today to live in a world full of new beginnings as darkness is replaced by dawn, and winter is replaced by spring. Today is a new beginning for me, and today I will live in the now!
-Jim Earl Swilley, A Year In The Now
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord as we move forward.
I'm not going back, I'm moving ahead
I'm here to declare to you my past is over
In You, old things are made new
Surrendered my life to Christ , I'm moving, moving forward.
-Israel Houghton and Ricardo Sanchez
"Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.'" (Revelation 21:5)
Let everything that has breath, praise Him!
All ye lands just praise Him
Lift up those hands and praise Him
Bless His holy name...
Oh, that the Church would arise
Oh, that we would see with Jesus' eyes
We could show the world heaven
...let the redeemed of the Lord say so...I am redeemed
-Israel Houghton and Michael Gungor
With all creation I sing
Praise to the King of kings
You are my everything
And I will adore you...
Happy are the people whose strength is in You...
As they pass through the Valley of Tears, they make it a source of springwater...
They go from strength to strength; each appears before God in Zion.
(taken from Psalm 84:5-7)
You are my strength, strength like no other...
How happy are those who reside in Your house, who praise You continually.
Psalm 84:4

ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to put more up here soon...Israel is a very good songwriter.
Remembering those in Haiti, praying the Lord give them strength to still praise, and find healing through it.
Planning on putting up another post today. Since last night I've been thinking a lot about our intimacy with God, and His desire for our touch, for our praise, as well as our enjoying and receiving His love and touches in the Spirit. - Karl
